Q.

#asktheexpert My baby is almost 3 months now. she is 88 days left. Birth weight is 3.14 and present is 5.4. 4 days back, she was excessively crying. was not accepting breastfeeding also and instead crying more..After giving her colicaid drops, she became normal. I believed she had kind of stomach discomfort Gave her drops every 8 hours for 2 days, she was good. Then stopped her giving drops, she was good only. But again yesterday she was crying and gave her colicaid drops. Is it normal for babies. Is it because of colic because she never behaved the same way before. Am worried if it will continue Further.

A. Babies with colic are often fussy, gassy, and don't sleep well. But in most cases they grow and gain weight normally. Colic will go away on its own. This often happens by age 3 months, and in most cases by age 6 months.
