at age of 9 months ,you can offer food with different taste and different texture also.
for example
you can offer fruits like mashed banana, apple, papaya etc
or you can try fruits in small pieces.
you prepare food like khichdi, curd rice,dal rice, multigrain dosa, idli, upma, besan chilla, paneer chilla ,mix veg soup etc for a child.
