#AskTheExpert My baby is 9 months old she got vaccinated on 24/2, post that she got fever and running nose, fever is under control now but she still has running nose and when she coughs there is lot of belgaum, I gave her maxtra drops for cough, is there any home remedy for this that I can try?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .ur
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good morning I would recommend you to try to give your baby indirect steam inhalation it is extremely effective than apart from that you can try to massage with the help of baby Vicks rub on the chest and back
