A. thanks dear...yup I try giving as much as tasty options I can, have started curd too...it seems he likes it with khichdi...will try the herbs and basic spices u mentioned...haven't yet experimented with nut powder...will do in the coming days. thank-you ❣️

A. Male a day wise food chart for your baby, so that you don't have to daily think what to give today.
I made below when my baby was 7 months and try to follow as much as I can.
Now since she is 9 months I have also added Parantha, eggs and other pulses.

A. Dates brand- I usually use Lion or Happilo.
It claims no added sugar. These are very popular brands, I am confident on its quality.
I order from big basket.
Heeng- Lesser than you usually use for Tadka.
I add heeng for my babies dal (all Dal's), khichdi etc.
I cook her food the same way we cook at home but without Salt, Sugar and masala.

A. which dates is good? I'm worried about packaged ones as sometimes to increase sweetness, artificial agents are added as well..also, how much heeng can be added? just a pinch like we use in tadkas or lesser?

A. Hello dear parent, try to give variety of food items to you baby. Many babies refuse to eat of you give same things daily to them
I Give below to my baby, hope it helps you too :)
Break fast option
Apple, dates, figs with Oats, boil them together and semi solid form.
Daliya with lots of veggies very finely chopped.
Banana and milk
Fruits
Etc
Lunch/Dinner/inbetween meals
Thick homemade tomato soup with lots of other veggies
Boiled Potato or sweet potato
Dal and Parantha
or Any other Sabji with Parantha
no salt and sugar until one yr of age. That's why depending on the type of food I usually add herbs like basil, parsley, roasted jeera, lemon, heeng etc.
For sweet food, I add dates as a sweetner

A. the weight of the child is already on the higher side sweat present there is no need to worry and you can continue your efforts in giving food to the child and also give juice extracted from fruits which helps in increasing the appetite of the child

A. Hello mom
Some babies don’t gain weight easily but in such cases if your baby is active and taking proper meals on time then everything is fine and nothing to worry about. You should add cereals in babies regular diet plan. Cereals is a good source of proteins and nutrition and also help in gaining weight. Also start giving banana shake every morning.
