#asktheexpert My baby is 8weeks old who was born at 32 weeks, does not sleep all night. keeps crying and when consoled sleeps for 10 mins and wakes up again. is this a health concern?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver.
its mostly begycause of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after each feed is very important.
Enzyme preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.
