Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is 8+ months I have stopped giving him formula and started giving him 3 meals and 1 fruit in a day during the night I'm breastfeeding him max 60ml due to low supply is this okay? will that have any side effects for stopping formula?

A. My baby is going to be 8 months. How much should be the quantity of solids each time? I give her 3 meals She is formula fed and drinks 460-550ml everyday and weighs 6.8kg and birth weight was 2.6kg at 35 weeks. She eats vegetable purée, vegetable Dalia, mix veg khichdi, boiled egg yolk, sooji kheer, atta kheer, Ravi satva, sprouted matki rice

A. yes u cn stop formula gradually and give amul milk or mother dairy milk as baby completes one yr you can give cow milk or buffalo milk gradually increases solids and decrease milk

Hi mommy There is no side effects but better to give as baby requires more calcium during this growing age So don’t stop Give two liquid diet followed by milk Take a good care of your baby Give seasonal fruits vegetables kiwi apple banana mango juice mashed potato mashed banana mashed sweet potato eggs cheese butter porridge etc
