#AskTheExpert my baby is 7 months old. He recently got cold and cough but he is fine now. today after he pooped, as my wife was cleaning him, strange crackling sound came from him twice. But he his behavior is normal. He has been laughing and playing playing as usual. Is This something I need to worry abou#AskTheExpert my baby is 7 months old. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant brongchodilators orj antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. This is normal, Your baby is babbling. Your baby's babbling might even have up and down tones that sound almost like talking. At this age most babies still use body language to communicate, like making noises to get your attention.
