Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby is 6 months old . she fell down from bed on hard surface.. she has 2-3 red spots like Bruise backside of head behind right ear and above neck. she cried for 5 minutes and than she has taken milk. and than she is acting normal.. she played and than slept last night.. in the morning today she has taken milk and act normally played and slept. she hasn't vomiting or other scary symptoms. shoud i concerned about my baby's injury? should i consult pediatrician? is anything worried about that injury?

A. it is important to keep the child for observation for at least 48 hours and if the child develops danger signs like severe headache or excessive crying or excessive vomiting or abnormal movements or lethargy or seizures then kindly meet your doctor immediately for examination. s if none of above danger signs are present then you can follow wait and watch policy for pain you can give paracetamol which will help in also decreasing swelling on the head. also apply ice locally.
