my baby is 3 years 6 months old he fell down from bed and got bruise in his head just 3 inches above the ear when I touch that he is feeling pain what should I do please suggest emergency

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. Recurrgtrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can lead to some chronic manifestations occasionally . Also teeth injury shtould be rule out in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .
