Q.

#asktheexpert My baby is 6 and half months old and 6.5 kg weight. is it normal weight? what can I do to improve his weight as he is picky eater. don't eat much and milk also only 500 ml. is there any medicine that I can give to improve appetite?

A. hi babies weight gain depends on their birth weight usually they gain double their birth weight by the age of 6 months. ideally ,6 months old baby should have weight between 5 to 7 kg. so don't worry your child weighs normal. please feed your child on demand feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well. give Massage to your child daily maintain good hygiene
