#asktheexpert my baby is 6.5 months old and i got my first period after delivery, can i take iron and calcium tablets. Please suggest.

if you have iron deficiency than you can also continue with iron supplements..
have well balanced diet and plenty of fluids.

Anita JessieMom of a 4 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. If you are a breastfeeding mother, you should take iron and calcium till you stop breastfeeding. If not, you can stop taking iron and calcium at 6 months.
