Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is 5month6days old. she is formula feed as well as breastfeed baby.her birth weight 3.75kg and now she is 8.5kg. now I am confused to how much formula and how much time gap I can give to her? since last 3days she refused to drink formula while she is awake, but drinks formula when she is sleeping. when she is awake , she wants to breastfeed but I have insuffient breast milk supply. what to do in that situation? #urgentreplyrequired

A. See What you can do as of now is initially give your feed to the child so once your child is sorted that you giving breastfeed after that if your child is not full then offer formula feeding to the child as this way your child would be sorted because your child is getting breastfeed also and then if you give formula I think your child should be comfortable with that
