#AskTheExpert My baby is 50 years old & today he got his vaccination from govt. hospital Jammu, but now he is very incomfortable & crying excessively due to pain, what to do in this situation??????

when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
