Q.

#asktheexpert My baby is 5 months old and his one eye is red near retina..whom should we consult to? pediatrician or eye doctor??

A. if it is not increasing intensity then do not worry and no treatment is required but if it is increasing and the child is irritable as well as having watering in the eyes then meet your doctor at the earliest and you have to meet the pediatrician initially

A. hi yes it is better to consult your pediatrician for this. clean your child eyes with fresh tap water. don't apply kajal or anything. maintain good hygiene
