#asktheexpert my baby is 4months old and she is having watery eyes issue since her birth but now she is better than her birth time...what's the issue mam

A. this occurs due to nasolacrimal duct obstruction which is very common in children at this age it occurs due to obstruction of pathway (nasolacrimal duct) from eyes to the nose for which eyes massage is needed regularly and this problem goes away with increasing age of the child meet your doctor for more information and also go through various videos whfich will also tell you how to massage the eyes to decrease the obstruction. if the obstruction is not taken care of the proper massage it can lead to infection in the eyes( yellow secretion) and more watery eyes as well as red eyes and secretions from the eyes

A. hello this maybe you to clogged tear duct and you can try to massage your baby eyes gently which can help and any concern you can check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you accordingly and absolutely nothing to worry about and not a problem
