Q.

#asktheexpert My baby is 45 days old. He denies breastmilk and prefer formula milk more. When he was born he demands milk after 2 hours now he demands milk after every one hour but milk portion which he takes is same i. e 2.5ml. when we try to feed him more he sleeps. his weight is now 4.5 kg. Is it ok.

A. exclusive breastfeeding is ideal and the best best but if you're giving formula milk to the baby then it should be given only under medical advice it will be better before changing

A. hi yes it is ok. but as mother's milk is nature's best food for a child's health ,you must offer breastfeeding only. you should encourage your child by trying different feeding positions. maintain skin to skin Contact while feeding your child which will help to encourage your child to take more feeds.
