#asktheexpert my baby is 45 days old. For last 2 days she takes brest feed only for 10 mins max. Even if the gap between the feeds goes upto 3-4 hours still she takes the next feed for 10 mins only.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist1 Year agoA. It’s absolutely all right. It is most likely that the babies meeting the feeding needs in the first 10 minutes only. If the flow of milk is good, then this is more than sufficient.
