Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby is 4 months old.. he is not gaining weight properly. birth weight is 2.67 . lowest weight while discharging from hospital is 2.34. current weight is 5.02. what to do for gaining his weight. No formula given to him.

A. weight is Very good. child should double it's birth weight by completion of six months and triples by one year. give only breastmilk till completion of six months for healthy growth

A. Hello,it's normal and sometimes babies loose weight and it's completely normal and you should also don't worry and as baby is not on formula milk and as your baby is on breast-feed then you need to eat nutritional and balanced diet so that baby also gets it through milk.
