Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is 4 months 28 days old she has stopped drinking her formula milk from last 1 week. She is only having 250ml in 24 hrs. What can be done to increase her appetite? Can we start semi solids?

A. You should start solids only after the baby completes six months or 180 days of age. If the baby has suddenly stopped feeding then it is ideal that you consult your doctor wants. Also check the oral cavity for any ulcers our new teeth or candid infection Write Your Answer Here

A. I would not recommend you to start giving semi solid food to the baby at this stage it is advisable to give only mothers milk or formula to the child that is considered to be the best option till 6 months
