A. Hi mom. The weight of ur baby is fine. If ur baby is active and playful then no need to worry about weight much. Ideally the weight gets double the birth weight by five months. Mother should exclusive breast feed her baby till six months. Once ur baby completes six months then u can start with semi solids like cerelac, khichdi, ripe banana, apple puree, raagi porridge etc Feed for longer time from one side so that baby gets both fore milk and Hind milk. Hind milk is rich in fat and thicker which will help in weight gain of the baby.
