Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. give only mother milk breast milk should be given to baby till first 6 months of age. Mother milk is best as it contains natural antibodies and best for baby growth. Never give formula milk unless instructed by pediatrician . Nothing should be given no gripe water no ghutti

You should be supported to • Breastfeed safely, with good respiratory hygiene; • Hold your newborn skin-to-skin, and • Share a room with your baby • You should wash your hands before and after touching your baby, and keep all surfaces clean. Mothers with symptoms of COVID-19 are advised to wear a medical mask, during any contact with the baby.
