#AskTheExpert my baby is 3 years old he speak only few words like mumma papa nana nani mama icecream only he is unable to speak sentence n words pls suggest me what should i do

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician4 years agoA. Baby start to say monosyllables like ma, da at 6 -7 months of age.
And Bisyllables like mama, dada, at 9-10 months of age
Baby start to say 2 words at 12-14 months of age
And jargon speech come at 15 -16 months of age.
Baby can speak simple sentences of 2-3 words at 20-24 months of age.
Some babys achieve these at early and some may be delay in achieving that.
No need to worry for that.
Spend more time with ur baby only
Encourage ur baby to speak
Avoid overcrowding of multiple languages at home to speak with baby
Better to speak in mother tongue and teach that language to baby first

My baby is 3 year 1 month old but she is not speaking much just she is using very simpale words like paani Pini ,mummy gai, papa aay, just two words only and repeating the sentences again & again and become very angry and shouting for no reason she is shouting very badly all the time. plz plz suggest what kind of symptoms it is...
