#AskTheExpert my baby is 3 months old, having cough catched by me,,any home remedies for curing cough

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reducef the fever and c the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. No home remedies as such at this age just u should nebulise the child as that would b the best thing to go for .. as that’s rather more comforting for the child as well so it’s better that u nebulise he child as of now or I’ve indirect steam
