#AskTheExpert my baby is 3.5 month old earlier he was doing potty in 4 days interval but from last 10 days he is not doing potty I gave him suppository suggested by doc but again it's 4 days he is not doing potty. he is exclusively on breast feeding what to do plzzz help me

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. yes this is normal in babies. it s ok for a baby to not do potty daily as the diet is basically liquid as milk. So even if baby does not poop for 7 days it s all ok and should not be given any medicine at all

Hi mom It’s all normal and common Maintain hygiene Maintain hydration Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation Give adequate feeding Burp well after every feeding Try to keep head up position while feeding Maintain hydration Burp well after every feeding
