A. Ideal weight of a 2.3 years baby boy should be between 12-12.5 kgs depending on eating habits and physical activities. To help him gain, include fat and protein rich foods like potato, rice, pumpkin, sweet potato, legumes, milkshakes with dry fruits, eggs, chicken, fish, ghee, rice water, banana, avocado and milk. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks including variety of fluids. To stop breastfeeding, try to serve milk in a kiddie cup with a straw or an attractive mug from brands like Babyhug feeding range to create interest. You can aldi mix dry fruits powder or dates puree in the milk to enhance the taste and nutrition.
