Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby is 2 week old and my milk is not sufficient to bby. I am giving lactogen 1 to baby is it safe

A. no it's not so. Breastfeeding is the best source of natural immunity and antibodies to a newborn baby never give formula milk as it is not required at all exclusive breastfeeding is a must for good immunity and baby health , reduces colic and gas issues and overall brain development of the baby. No water , ghutti or any other syp is given till 6 months of age .

A. it is not recommended for .Breast feeding should be at least till 6 month of age. If not possible then milk formula should be given with proper dilution . After 6 month can start with top feed along with cow milk .
