Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is 2 months old .I'm feeding both bm and fm. he takes breastfeeding and gets hunger easily with 1 hr hence for next feed my supply is low. My query is how to find my milk supply is enough for my baby.

A. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also. the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding. meet the doctor for weight assessment.e if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake. if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child

A. If your milk supply would be enough for the child the child is going to be full for at least 2 to 3 hours and if that is there that means you’re giving enough to your child
