#AskTheExpert My baby is 2 and half months now..and he cries inconsolably specially in the evening everyday also he refuses feeding and starts crying like anything .Nothing stops him crying..his pediatrician diagnosed him as a colic baby.we gave him protectis and colimax drops.but nothing works for him.I am very much worried.please suggest.

A. that's colic. Gas can cause discomfort to baby . Give only mother milk to baby , avoid use of bottle feeding or formula milk . burp baby after every feed for 20 minutes by keeping baby upright on shoulder. You can do cycling motion of the legs and also massage tummy gently in morning . Can give gastica drops 1ml to baby for gas. Coliky pain is maximum at night time and and makes the baby cry whole night and disturb sleep . give drops meftal spas or colicaid 0.5 ml at evening or night time .
