My baby is 2.5 months old. She sleeps too less. She gets up at 3 am midnight and then till 1 pm in the afternoon ( 10 hours ) she remains awake. In between she yawns , becomes drowsy, cries , screams but when we try to make her sleep, she gets up in 5 mins and cries. It seems she is tired and sleepy but not able to sleep. She also cries and screams every half an hour in this 10 hours span. Since birth also she slept very less. But this has increased in past 15 days. Is it normal for a 2.5 months old baby to be awake continuously for 10 hours with just two naps of 5-5 mins in between ?

A. Sleeping pattern of small babies is very different and if the child is not having any discomfort or anhty cause like infantile colic nasal blockage or any pain and if the child is playful and taking proper feeding so this pattern will get normal with time
