#AskTheExpert My baby is 19 months old. She has 5 teeth errupted so far. We feel that the 6th one is about tp errupt as it looks but swollen. how do we know that baby is in pain while toothing and how we can soothe her pain.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. ye sknw this that. teeth eruption can make baby cranky as it s painful . Drooling saliva , hard gums , and a cranky baby are signs. Can massage baby gums well for ease. Can use teether silicon or wooden for baby . Maintain hygeine of teether .
Can be given vitamin d3 from birth till 1 year of age 1 ml 400 IU or 0.5 ml if 800 IU daily .
