Q.

#Asktheexpert My baby is 18 months old. Since last night she is feeling warm. So I checked with a thermometer but temperature is not high (96 degrees). I kept the room at 26 degrees and made her sleep. I checked at around 2 am she was again appearing to be warm, but when I checked again temperature was 98 degrees. Again at around 6 she woke up asking for milk, she was appearing warm this time too so I checked again but the temperature is still 98.1. Also there is vein on her forehead which is looking much prominent now. I don't know if it is related to getting warm or not but it has appeared ever since she started feeling to be warm (since last night). Attaching picture for reference. It will be great if an expert given an opinion.

A. it is acc to temp. Temperature more tham 99 is fever. Give paracetamol for fever and can be given 3 to 4 times in a day . If temperature does not comes down in 2 days then baby need a proper examination as it may be any other infection
