Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby is 15 months old. she generally has hard poop. I try to give her plenty of water, fruits and veggies but can't force feed her. she always wanted to have dry fruits like badam kaju pista etc. Today there was blood in her poop as initially it was very hard after that it was ok. please suggest what should I do to relieve her from constipation.

A. The blood might be due to anal tear so apply little coconut oil around anus before passing motion and give nuts in limited quantity abd give prune juice apricots fig overnight soaked in water

A. hi dear When it comes to frequency, Grow says children should poop every one to two days and the consistency should be soft and formed, much like soft serve ice cream. If a child's poop is hard, dry, resembles pellets, or if a child has to strain, they may be constipated.
