#asktheexpert my baby is 15 day old he was given phototherapy for 48 hr during 5,6 ad 7 th day after birth.now also I am able to appreciate yellow tint in his skin ad sclera.his after report after phototherapy was ,9.4

A. Phototherapy and early morning sun exposure help in neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. Phototherapy causes a change in skin colour, sometimes causing the bronze baby syndrome. reversal to original colour needs about 48 days .
