#asktheexpert my baby is 13th month old now .he frequently rubbed his eyes and becomes very irritating.what are the reasons?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. kindly maintain hygiene of the eyes and clean it with with clean water.
normally simple secretions / allergyd redness should not occur again and again.
use hygienic cloth as well as your hands should be clean when coming in contact with the child eyes
if the child's eyes is sticky with pus discharge or regular discharge comingd out you have to meet the doctor. examination is needed in case on eye infection .
do not use any drops witout medical consultation

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and please maintain proper hygiene and clean baby eys and face with wet cotton cloth and also evaluate once with your local eyes specialist if baby is having red eyes and more itching.
