#asktheexpert my baby is 11 months old she had fever yesterday doctor gave antibiotic n paracetamol she's not taking drops crying alot while drinking syrup.antibiotics is necessary to recover from fever

A. if it is bacterial infection then the doctor decide the need of antibiotic and if it is a viral infection then it does not require any antibiotics so if there is any confusion you can take a second Dr opinion for examination of the child
