SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear You can give everything that you normally have. Let it be less oily and also let it less spicy. Include a veggie and fruit everyday. include few nuts everyday. You can start giving all family foods. Everything that you have can be given to baby with less spice and less oil. Avoid snacks and other junks and replace with fruits and nuts.
Breakfast - idli, dosa, pongal, oats, chapati, upma,
Lunch - any rice with dal, veggie rice, Khicidi,
eggs and non veg if your baby eats.
snacks - finger foods,carrot, apple, banana, nuts milkshake, juices, banana, potato, puffed rice, poha,
Dinner, idli, dosa, rice, mixed veg paratha, Khicidi, dal rice, rasam rice, milk rice Try to feed for longer duration. 15-20 mins each breast. This way baby will get balanced foremilk and hind milk. Foremilk comes in the beginning for 5-10 mins then comes the hind milk which is rich in fats and can help baby gain weight. So always empty a breast each
