#asktheexpert my baby is 1 week old and he poops and pees after every feed. Is it normal?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. gastrocolic reflex is very normal in children. in this phenomena the child is having semi solid to solid stool after every episode of of food / milk intake. if the growth / weight gain of the child ids proper there is no need to worry about this phenomena. usually this phenomena decreases with increasing age of the child

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl1 Year agoA. Oh that is completely normal for such a small child in fact they can pass urine and they can poop also while taking a feeding and both the situation after or in between a feeding is considered completely normal so no need to worry about it
