#AskTheExpert My baby is 1 month old ..she was kept in nicu due to grade 2 meconium stain...she was given fluid through umbilical catheter for 8 days from birth...her umbilicus is not dry yet,there is pus like fluid...so what treatment should we give her? Is it worrisome?

Ma’am I cannot advise you with any treatment for this the doctors only can guide you the best relating to the same so it would be best that you consult your paediatrician and if it is still wet the best thing that you can apply is betadine ointment on to that that’s one of the best things to go for
