Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is 1.5 month old . she is diagnosed jaundice with billirubin level 5.42 indirect billirubin. she is a full term baby and taking breastmilk only. other blood test also done like lft tsh ,everything ok except that billirubin. what should we do? how long it take to recover by itself?

A. Not to get stressed out, you can just have proper. Follow-up with your doctor and continue proper breast. Feeding as it is very important when babies having jaundice to maintain proper hydration.
