#AskTheExpert my baby has vaccine tomorrow. she is suffering from mild cough since yesterday. coughs only when she is awake and it's very mild at the moment. can we get her vaccinated or wait for the cough to recover?

A. Hello, your baby girl is 3 months old and she is due for vaccinations tomorrow but she is having coughs very mild type so if she doesn’t have any fever then you can give her vaccinations

A. Mild cough is fine, but it is better to wait till it gets over completely before you get the vaccination administered. It is recommended to get it done when baby is healthy because only then body will be able to produce antibodies for the vaccination to work fine.
