Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. now that's normal. It is absolutely normal for the baby to not pass motion even for up to one week if the baby is on breastfeeding so no need to worry if it is above one week then you can apply glycerine suppository for easy motion of the baby no syrup for medicine is given orally till 2 years of age for constipation as not recommended.
Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear This range is normal. Babies fed with formula tend to have slightly firmer stools than breastfed babies, and they have fewer bowel movements. Once solids are introduced (at about 6 months of age), poo will become slightly firmer again.
