#asktheexpert my baby has no teeth she is 1 year old , how long should we wait for medicine to be given for teething

A. for tooth development and eruption the first important thing is that the child should not have deficiency of calcium and vitamin d. first tooth eruption can occur anytime between 6 months to 18 months of age. deficiency is there or not will be stold by the doctor. there is no need to worry because many times the first tooth eruption may occur as late as 16 to 18 months of age also. so if your spersonal doctor is not worried then no need to worry from your side

A. If you are talking about homeopathic medicine then you can give now also there is no problem with that anyways it’s good with calcium secondly a child and I have its first teeth between the age of 3 to 17 months so right now there is no delay you can easily wait till that much of the time
