#AsktheExpert My baby has cold and in the night he is excessive crying if we carry him he is calming for sometime if we try to put him down he started crying again.please suggest

DivyaMom of 2 children7 months agoA. hi try raising the child's head till shoulders by 30 degrees not too much. also before putting him to bed try adding nasal drops and do suction. it usually helps the child to sleep better

Actually when you carry your child your child is in a position either it is in the upright position on your shoulder so it’s easier for them to breathe and when the child is lying flat on the bed the nose jokes so you can put a pillow under the head of the child and put nasal drops that’s going to help in easy breathing and better breathing as the head is going to be in the elevated position
