Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby has become very clingy since few days. He is otherwise playing nicely with other family members but on seeing me he starts crying for coming to me and once he's with me he starts crying. also sometimes when he is with me and I put him down to sleep or to change clothes, he starts crying alot. he has become very fussy.

A. stranger anxiety usually develops after 6 months of age when the child is able to recognise the parents as well as the near once. it is a normal part of development in which the child is able to identify the people who are nearby as well as wants to protect oneself from the people the child doesn't know.d the stranger anxiety usually decreases with increasing age of the child and you have to stay with the child to just make the child comfortable with strangers
