#asktheexpert My baby has 3 month old. But she vomit after feeding. What can I do to stop or reduce this?

A. Dear parent, vomiting is common among breastfed baby. burp baby after every feed. Burp in sitting position better than on shoulder keeping the head and chest at a level higher than stomach helps to reduce vomit. if baby is passing urine more than 7 times a day is active and alert and gaining adequate weight ,at least 500 gram per month then do not worry

A. Hello dear parent! Occasional spits after feeding is normal in small babies due to reflux. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand. Burp the baby after every feed. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy. Consult your child’s doctor for advice.
