A. hi doc, is it common for the vaccination site to appear like this, (pic attached )I could see redness for the rest of the day whenever I apply ice. Can I start using thrombophob gel now as its been 3 weeks already also please let me know how many times a day and till when we can apply the gel.

A. after painful vaccines administration they can cause swelling in the limbs which can continue for more than two montchs also. it does not require any treatment and should go away on its own. after vaccination immediately you should start applying ice as well as thrombophob gel to prevent such swellings from persisting
