#AskTheExpert my baby got vaccination of 1and half yesterday, still he is crying because of pain how can I manage and also is there any way to calm baby

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
you can continuously apply ice over the swelling as well as the injection site

Fever swelling and rashes are the common symptoms after vaccination
If there is pain then u can apply ice pack on the injected area to give relief. Or u can give calpol drops to ur baby to get relief from pain. Take care
