#AskTheExpert My Baby got used to Bottle milk and doesn't latch on to me. He is just 14 days old. Sometimes with the help of Nipple shield, he drinks a little from me. Is it okay to use nipple shield and how do I teach my child to latch on to me.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. there is no problem in using nipple shield or a bottle but if you are venting hygiene then you can continue but otherwise if hygiene is not maintained then it can lead to infection
