#AskTheExpert my baby got jaundice when he was 7 days(bilurubin- 27) so he was kept under phototheraphy( triple layered)his colour became dark than his birth colour.Now he is 7 weeks old.will his colour change?how many days does it take to get back his own colour.pls reply

A. Hi mom Yes the color will change..so no need to worry. Phototherapy was much needed as the bilirubin levels were high. The tanning will be reduced within few months on its own. so no need to worry. Take care and all the best
