Q.

#asktheexpert my baby girl need to vaccinate (9thmonth) today (29/09/2023) But she had a fever before two days now she's okey. can I vaccinate her today?? or when I vaccinate her?

A. yes simple fever , cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be xaround 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination if still in confuxsion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

A. We can delay vaccination by 1 to 2 weeks without any problem. Don't get worried that you delayed.
